CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas – Sincere Parker poured in a game-high 31 points, while Joe Charles and Christian Shumate added 12, leading the way for the McNeese Cowboys (4-2) in an 84-69 win over Longwood (6-1) on Sunday at the 2024 Paradise Jam.

The Cowboys advance to play the winner of the Liberty/Kansas State game in the Paradise Jam championship game at 9 p.m. on Monday. Longwood will play the losing team of that contest in the 3rd place game at 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Momentum swung wildly in the opening half, as Longwood opened up an early seven-point advantage (15-8) eight minutes in, but McNeese charged ahead and pushed its own lead into double figures and carried a nine-point advantage into the second half.

Parker caught fire for the Cowboys in the second half, scoring 27 of his 31 points and helping McNeese stretch its lead to as many as 20 points down the stretch.
