DIVISION III/SMALL COLLEGE HOOP CLASSIC, DECEMBER 26-31!
The tournaments fill fast , so book early for 2008 and beyond!
 The Surf 'N Slam expanded in 2002 to include a women's
collegiate version for NCAA Division III and small college teams, in addition
to its Division I and high school counterparts.
This tournament is
held every year from Dec. 26-31 on the breathtaking Point Loma Nazarene
campus.
 The
fabulous Westin Gaslamp Quarter is the official tournament hotel,
right in the heart of the famous San Diego GasLamp District.
A visit to
the San Diego Zoo, a ride on the famous San Diego Trolley, and the
great shopping and restaurants of the adjacent Horton Plaza Mall
round out a perfect tournament experience.

Tournament Format
Guaranteed 3 games total
(All NCAA Division III teams with the exception of Point Loma).
Booking Procedures
All tournaments are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once you have
called us and indicated your interest in participating, Basketball Travelers,
Inc. will send you a contract to be returned within three weeks of receipt.
- $1,000 non-refundable team deposit
NOTE: The deposit guarantees your spot in the tournament.
Positions are filled on a first-to-pay basis.
- 25% of group total due by September 1.
- Final balance due by November 1.

Dec. 26: Arrive in San Diego; practice
Dec. 27: Tournament Game #1; Attend Division 1
games
Dec. 28: Tournament Game #2
Dec. 29: Tournament Game #3
Dec. 30: Continental breakfast; Visit San Diego Zoo; Practice; Attend Division
1 games
Dec. 31: Depart for home
 Accommodations
In San Diego you will stay five nights at the luxurious Westin Gaslamp Quarter.
It features 450 spacious guest rooms, heated outdoor pool with Jacuzzi
and sundeck, a 3,000 square foot health club. Best of all, it is located
in the Horton Plaza Mall, which includes 14 theatres, numerous restaurants,
and over 140 shops. Horton Plaza is also in the heart of the historic
Gas-lamp Quarter, in the center of San Diego’s Downtown, just minutes
from Seaport Village and the Coronado Ferry.
Your Tournament Package Includes
The per person price includes five nights at the Westin Gaslamp Quarter, all
ground transportation needs (to/from San Diego Airport, Games and the
San Diego Zoo), trolley pass (use to go to Old Town, Mission
Valley), tournament continental breakfast, tournament gift, and a ticket
to the San Diego Zoo (including the narrated bus tour and sky ride).
Price Does Not Include
Round-trip air tickets to San Diego, meals, travel insurance & incidentals.
How Much Does It Cost?
The tournament package price per person is based on many things
specific to your team's needs and wishes. These include how many
nights you plan on staying, and how many persons you will have in
each room. Call our office to discuss these details and we will
be happy to supply you with a price and contract.
