San Diego....the annual site of the Surf 'N Slam™ Hoop Classic, is a fantastic tourist destination and a great place to take your team for the holidays!

To begin with there are 70 miles of sandy beaches, warm sunshine, the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Tijuana, Mexico and many other exciting sights. It is all there waiting for your team to explore...when you’re not playing hoops!

Eligibility
This Holiday Tournament is open to all NFHS/AIA sanctioned and eligible boys and girls high school teams. The tournament is sanctioned by the CIF and the National High School Federation. The 44 teams that participated in 2007 came from Alaska, California, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.

Tournament Format
Guaranteed 3 games total for your team. There will be 4 brackets for different skill levels of teams. Tournament hosts are University City, Scripps Ranch, Point Loma and Mission Bay High Schools.

Booking Procedures
$500 Non-refundable deposit due to secure your spot in the tournament.
NOTE: The $500 deposit guarantees your spot in this tournament. Positions are filled on a first-to-pay basis and some brackets fill fast.
• 25% of group total due by September 1.
• 75% of group total due by November 10.

Tour Itinerary/Highlights
Dec 26: Arrive in San Diego
Dec 27: Tournament game
Dec 28: Off day to visit San Diego Zoo (or Disneyland at extra fee)
Dec 29: Tournament game
Dec 30: Tournament game; Final day of games and
           Championship games/awards ceremony and buffet dinner
           at the Marriott Ballroom; dance following.
Dec 31: Depart for home

Accommodations
In San Diego you will stay at the Recently Renovated Marriott-Mission Valley Hotel. It features a large outdoor pool with terraces and waterfall, health club, sauna, whirlpool, video room, & free HBO. It is located near three large malls with over 300 stores.

What is Included
5 nights at the Marriott-Mission Valley Hotel, Charter bus ground transportation (to/from airport, games) Ticket to the San Diego Zoo (transportation provided) Tickets to the San Diego State or University of San Diego Women’s Division I Basketball Tournament (transportation provided), Surf 'N Slam T-shirt, tournament fees, unlimited use trolley passes, coaches gift and Awards banquet dinner. Disneyland is also available for an extra cost.

What is not Included
Airfare, Transportation to/from departure city, meals, incidentals (phone, laundry, etc.), and travel insurance.

Parents & Boosters
Can also purchase the tour package for this same price and receive all of the same benefits as your team, including game ticket.

Driving Teams
For High School Teams within driving distance to San Diego, we offer 4 and 5 night packages where you supply all your own ground transportation. Call our office for this special pricing.

Disneyland Option
On your "off day", you can choose to visit Disneyland. This visit to the Magic Kingdom will be an additional charge. We will bus you up in the morning so you can enjoy the whole day there before departing Disneyland about 8pm.
